WebReach is pleased to announce the 3.0 update to our appliance platform. This update includes a new look to the user interface, as well as some exciting new features.
The control panel header has been redesigned to provide easier access to power controls and now has status indicators showing the current state of the power supplies, hard drives, and cluster service. A reorganized menu makes finding specific pages faster and easier, and many screens have been redesigned for simplicity and clarity.
New features include backup and restore with an automated service for scheduling daily backups, a new folder browser, and improved network drive support for NFS and Windows network drives. SupportNet connections can now be made persistent, the system date and time can now be manually set, and the Bonjour service can be disabled on the Network Configuration page. The online help has been completely updated, and an all new appliance deployment guide is also included in PDF format.
Behind the scenes, logging has been improved for clustering, VPN, and backup and restore functions. We’ve also implemented a plug-in application and service framework to facilitate future appliance extensions.
This update improves the best turn-key platform for running Mirth in your organization, and it is available now for all appliance customers with a current support agreement. Just check for updates from your current appliance control panel and get all the benefits 3.0 has to offer.
