Gerald Bortis is the lead software engineer overseeing development of the Mirth Project, an open source health care system integration application created by WebReach, Inc. Gerald is also completing his Ph.D. in Informatics at the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Irvine.”
